Cost Manager & Senior Cost Manager

Capstone are recruiting on behalf of a multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy, for a Project and a Senior Cost Manager to join their team in New York. This independent Partnership has over 100 Cost and Project Management employees on the east coast and have been established here for circa 25 years. The company is run with a family ethos embedded within the culture; flexibility and work-life balance are important values maintained. Holiday allowance begins at 20 days as a standard across the business. This is a rarity due to local American firms offering 10 days typically. The role: You will be joining an established team, where there are circa 40 Cost Managers of various levels of seniority based in New York. As a Project or Senior Cost Manager, you will be managing your own workload as well as taking lead or supporting on projects where necessary. Your projects can vary from tech companies, financial institutions, law firms etc. There is scope for management responsibility as well as opportunity to progress into an Associate role. This employer wants their employees to own their projects and take ownership and this is where you will develop your client relations and progression within the business. About you: * Degree qualified, MRICS or working towards chartership * Demonstrable experience and technical ability as a Quantity Surveyor * Strong written and oral communication skills * Client-facing, articulate and ambitious - interested in developing to the next level International applicants must fulfil the criteria of the E-Treaty Visa which is required for this position.
