OPPORTUNITY: SECURITY ICT SYSTEMS MANAGER
LOCATION: UK
SALARY: UP TO £80,000 PER ANNUM + PACKAGE
A world class Property Developer with a track record of developing and operating hundreds of Data Centre's globally, backed by a major investment management firm is recruiting for a Security IT Systems Manager, responsible for taking the lead on security technology design, project implementation and operational management of integrated security applications, in addition to providing technical advice, system management and facilitating technical support to ICT users, and to taking the lead on security technology, design, implementation and management of integrated platforms.
The incumbent shall provide encouragement and mentoring to users to ensure that they are utilising company provided security technology, ICT systems, equipment and services to best effect. He/she shall negotiate contracts, review service provision and liaise with 3rd party providers to ensure that ICT services are delivered cost effectively and efficiently, ensuring ICT systems are maintained, updated and protected to current and emerging threats.
It should be noted that the Company anticipates operating a Working from Home (WFH) policy for the forthcoming 12 months.
Reporting
Reports to Chief Vigilance Officer.
Core Responsibilities
* Assist with the design and implementation of security applications and technology for new and existing sites.
* Lead and support projects with regards to configuration of integrated security platforms, inclusive of access control, surveillance, related infrastructure and networks.
* Lead on security and ICT systems planned preventative maintenance, software/firmware upgrades, break-fix and where appropriate, physical installations to resolve issues or replace defective equipment.
* Engage with Project Team as the Security Technical Lead ensure all technical resources are aligned with project requirements and timescales
* Manage ICT systems, networks and services
* Develop Security Technology and ICT project plans and track progress of tasks against cost estimates
* Support Business Development with technical guidance and product approval during the tender and bid process
* Undertake and lead client technical workshops in order to define customer requirements
* Manage the Centralised Security Control Facility Systems
* Manage the security technology and IT budget
* Monitor metrics, deliverables and outputs and prioritise multiple business critical issues
* Develop and maintain a security technology training programme, for all platform users and liaise with third party suppliers to enhance knowledge and resilience.
* Provide technical support to any Company site and provide advice to security technology system or ICT users
* Manage 3rd party IT service suppliers/managed service providers to ensure value for money
* Involvement in all stages of the project delivery cycle from feasibility/technical design through implementation to support.
Knowledge and Skills
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Proven track record in delivering significantly sized integrated security technology platforms from design through to operational use on previous projects and sites
* Experience in managing and maintaining integrated security platforms and installation of security hardware
* Proven track record of developing and managing ICT networks/systems
* 3rd party supplier management
* Security Technology knowledge to include:
* Implementation of a structured cabling system and all testing parameters
* Implementation of a IP security solution including all subsystems, including and but not limited to, CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm, Intercom, Panic Alarm, Server Storage, LAN network; Wireless network and LED lighting solutions including all testing; commissioning requirements.

The Role

Our client is seeking a Property Manager to join the expanding team of professional surveyors to undertake the day to day management and provide strategic advice of a portfolio of properties.
The Role
Management of relationships with both the tenants and the landlord
To carry out the lease management, L&T services, client service delivery and reporting requirements
Set up of service charge budgets and the ongoing property management
Ensure excellence in the management of the portfolio and full compliance with the agreed KPIs
Client Liaison - Attend any Asset Management and leasing Meetings and provide the client with asset overview
Set up management systems for new buildings/property/tenants to include lease set up, rent and service charge management, policies and procedures
Assist in the preparation and review of the service charge budget to ensure competitively benchmarked against competitors
Ensure all statutory compliance and requirements are met
Support the finance team with regard to invoicing and credit control and including overview of Management Accounts
The Individual
Experience in commercial property management, lease management, Tenant Applications, Service Charge management, Health & Safety awareness, Structured client reporting
Knowledge and understanding of RICS Service Charge Code
Minimum of 2 years post qualified experience
IT Skills
Public sector experience is desirable, not essential

Capstone have been instructed by a prestigious NHS Trust in South London who are looking to recruit a Capital Projects Manager into a one-year fixed-term post. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing numerous refurbishment projects ranging from £20k to £2million in value.
The Project Manager will have responsibility for ensuring their delegated projects are safe, efficient and effective and of no danger to the health and safety of patients, staff and visitors. The Trust has a varied building portfolio and many types of construction and engineering systems, all of which must comply with current legislation, guidance and recommended approved codes of practice. The post holder will have significant management knowledge of such construction and services.
Day to day duties:
* To act as a professional member of the multi-disciplinary team responsible for co-ordination and implementation of construction activities necessary to accomplish the Trust's capital programme and specialist estate requirements.
* To undertake the management of construction projects from feasibility to post occupancy evaluation
* To provide professional construction management advice to the Director of Projects and Estates and others, on all those aspects of the works of the Trust that are ascribed to the post-holder
* To establish and review effective management systems to implement and monitor the refurbishment and construction projects assigned to the post-holder.
Education/Qualifications:
* A BSc Degree in Engineering, or building disciplines, diploma in Architecture or at least ten years equivalent experience
* At least five years practical experience in project management in a relevant and appropriate Health Service environment.
* Successful leadership, in Healthcare Projects Management of all staff groups in a healthcare environment
* Managing a multi discipline design team of construction professionals. Proven track record in delivering construction projects on time and to budget.
* Desirable - Membership of a professional institution such as RICS, IMechE, IET, RIBA or CIBSE.

Our client is an international holdings company who have established themselves in the U.K over the last 18months to become a leading player within the private rented sector (PRS) space. Majority of developments are within the Greater London area, but they also have a portfolio of hotels spanning the U.K. This client also acts as a bank / lender to third party organisations. The London team is circa 30 strong with growth plans to double in size next year and the current portfolio comprises of 5,000 residential units with £150m worth of LIVE projects at any one time. The culture can be described as energetic, ambitious with an autonomous working environment where everybody gets on with it and knows what they are doing.
About the Role
The requirement is for an Associate level Quantity Surveyor ideally with bank monitoring experience to establish this business unit. This is very much a stand-alone role initially, but with the ambition to grow this in-house capability with a team in the future. You will be working very closely with the COO who also leads on the development. What is key here is being able to scrutinize and analyse external cost reports and challenge these where necessary. This company also acts as a bank and lends money, so needs someone who can do the due diligence on the viability of these loans.
You will also be required to review developments reporting through to various parties on multiple projects within the private rented sector.

Capstone have been instructed by a prestigious NHS Trust in South London who are looking to recruit a Capital Projects Manager into a one-year fixed-term post. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing numerous refurbishment projects ranging from £20k to £2million in value.
The Project Manager will have responsibility for ensuring their delegated projects are safe, efficient and effective and of no danger to the health and safety of patients, staff and visitors. The Trust has a varied building portfolio and many types of construction and engineering systems, all of which must comply with current legislation, guidance and recommended approved codes of practice. The post holder will have significant management knowledge of such construction and services.
Day to day duties:
* To act as a professional member of the multi-disciplinary team responsible for co-ordination and implementation of construction activities necessary to accomplish the Trust's capital programme and specialist estate requirements.
* To undertake the management of construction projects from feasibility to post occupancy evaluation
* To provide professional construction management advice to the Director of Projects and Estates and others, on all those aspects of the works of the Trust that are ascribed to the post-holder
* To establish and review effective management systems to implement and monitor the refurbishment and construction projects assigned to the post-holder.
Education/Qualifications:
* A BSc Degree in Engineering, or building disciplines, diploma in Architecture or at least ten years equivalent experience
* At least five years practical experience in project management in a relevant and appropriate Health Service environment.
* Successful leadership, in Healthcare Projects Management of all staff groups in a healthcare environment
* Managing a multi discipline design team of construction professionals. Proven track record in delivering construction projects on time and to budget.
* Desirable - Membership of a professional institution such as RICS, IMechE, IET, RIBA or CIBSE.

The Role
* Manage the setup of new instructions and portfolios
